On the evening of March 21, 2006, the Nau-sets Square Dance Club honored
Cathy Hirsch as she prepares to move to NH. Cathy tells us that she and
her late husband Frank, learned to square dance in 1983 and were members
of the Coach Square Dance Club in Concord, N.H. and represented the club
as King and Queen. They also danced with the Bow Sa Do Club where they
both advanced to A-1 level of dancing.
In 1992 and ’93 they
participated in the New England Square and Round Dance Convention as
chairpersons of Signs and Maps committee with over 5000 dancers in
attendance.
In 1996, they danced
with the Nau-sets at Willy’s Gym where Cathy was chairperson of the
Refreshment Committee.
They were King and
Queen of the Semca Ball in 2001.
Both Cathy and Frank
devoted many hours to new dancers as Angels.
Cathy sends a
humongous “Yellow Rock” to everyone.
